Policy #5 - Injury Reporting - Effective 2022-09-09


PURPOSE 

The purpose of this policy is to set a procedure to help ensure that there is consistency in reporting incidents to Ringette Ontario and the Association.

  

PROCEDURE 

Injuries to Timmins Ringette members and affiliated people must be communicated to both Ringette Ontario and Timmins Ringette Association through their respective web sites.

 

IMPLEMENTATION 

  1. Ringette Ontario requires that the Sports Injury Report Form is completed within 10-days of an injury to a participant. The form is accessed through the Ringette Ontario website at https://ringetteontario.com/sports-injury-report-form/

  2. Timmins Ringette requires notification of a sports injury by completing the form on the Association web site at http://www.timminsringette.com/form/5410

  3. Timmins Ringette requires that medical direction be provided by a medical practitioner in order to resume participation after receiving medical attention for injury to a participant.
