Game Scores and Highlights from November 3 to 13/2019

Novice Division:

On November 5, 2019, Cedar Street Dental defeated Porcupine Kinsmen 10-6, in a back and forth high scoring affair.   This was a game of important firsts for Cedar Street as Leighla Belair played her very first time as a goalie and played outstanding.  Brooklyn Chamberland, being the youngest member of the team at 6 years of age, scored her very first Novice goal and added an assist.  Congratulations to both girls.  Jordyn Sparks “sparked” her team’s victory with a 4 goal performance.   Adele Plouffe was right behind her teammate with a hat trick of her own.  Ayla Lamothe and Megane Plouffe rounded out their scoring.  Desyree Dinel, Charley Champagne, and Olivia Young had important assists.  The Kinsmen responded with 2 goal outputs from Maelle Durepos and Mia Thauvette.  Adele Yates had one goal.

On November 12, 2019, Discover Fitness edged Cedar Street Dental 5-4 in a thrilling and closely fought game that was only decided in the final minute on a goal from Olivia Symes.   Olivia also had two assists in the game.   Victoria Souliere and Olivia Vandal paced the Discover Fitness attack with two goals a piece.  Courtney Biedermann  and Brianna Rathbone each added an assist in the win.   Charley Champagne scored two goals to pace Cedar Street in their comeback attempt, while Jordyn Sparks and Brooklyn Chamberland had single tallies.   Sparks, Ayla Lamothe, and Olivia Young contributed primary assists.

On November 15, 2019, Discover Fitness again defeated Cedar Street Dental -this time 5-2.   Brianna Rathbone led her team to victory with a hat trick, while Maelle Durepos and Olivia Vandal completed the scoring.   Olivia Symes had an assist.  Jordyn Sparks and Brooklyn Chamberland scored for Cedar Street.   Charley Champagne had the assist.

Petite Division:

On November 8, 2019, Timmins Garage defeated Iroquois Falls Ringers 6-1.  Janelle Lapierre paced the Garage attack with a hat trick.  Amaia Aide-Rios was equally impressive with a 2 goal and 2 assist effort.  Alissa Duggan rounded out the scoring. Gabrielle Cheff chipped in with 2 assists while Chloe Belanger-Gallant and Alissa Duggan had single helpers.  Emerly Come responded for IF in a losing cause.

On November 13, 2019, Custom Concrete edged Timmins Garage 12-5 in a wildly entertaining game that was highlighted by Addison McQuatt’s 4 goals and two assists and Juliette Bourdages-Cote’s hat trick and an assist.   Jana Courchesne and Tatiana Dalcourt added two goals each.   Addison Lamothe and Isabelle Rivard contributed two assists.   Janelle Lapierre responded for Custom Concrete with three goals.  Valerie Hamilton and Taylor Pilotte rounded out their scoring for the evening.  Alissa Duggan had two primary assists.   Chloe Belanger-Gallant, Taylor Pilotte, and Courtney Biedermann each added an assist as well.

Tween Division:

On November 6, 2019, Rehab Plus hung on to edge O’Reily’s Sports 7-6, in a game that was touch and go right until the final buzzer.   O’Reilly pulled their goalie in the last minute and pushed hard for the equalizer, but Rehab goalie Jo-anne Vane stood her ground to preserve the win.   It was a fun and entertaining game for the fans to watch.   Maria Aide-Rios led Rehab to victory with 3 goals and 1 assist.   Anika Allarie chipped in with 1 goal and 1 assist.  Single scores came from Zoe Brazeau, Lauren Bonsall, and Isabella Beatty-Peters.   Alexis Jensen added 1 assist.  Camryn Hyde had a hat trick performance for O’Reilly’s, while Adison Roberge and Ella Brumwell rounded out the scoring.   Brumwell, Lindy Young, and Julie Whissel each added an assist.

On November 8, 2019, Rehab Plus defeated Iroquois Falls 8-3.   Ella McCarty had a four goals to lead Rehab to the convincing victory.  Maria Aide-Rios had a great game as well in scoring a hat trick.  Talia Rivard had the other goal.  Karine Bolduc, Anika Allarie, and Brooke-Lynne McGinn added the primary assists.  Aurora Cuddy, Bryson McKeekin, and Emerly Come scored for IF in the loss.

JBO Division:

On November 3, 2019, Albert’s Sports & Work Wear defeated Iroquois Falls 7-3. Sisters, Marie and Marguerite Bourdages-Cote led the victors with two goals a piece, while single tallies came off the sticks of Sierra Landry, Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau, and Karine Trudel.  Landry, Durepos-Letourneau, and Madison Seguin contributed primary assists.  Jen Liznick (2 goals) and Steph Giguere responded for Iroquois Falls.

On November 3, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating edged Viel Auto Body 5-3 in a game that was not decided until the last two minutes when Viel scored on goals by Janelle Rivard and Shannon Lachance.   Rivard also scored a goal in the first period and added an assist.  Danya Desjardins and Alley Perrier rounded out their scoring.  Chelsea Desjardins chipped in with two primary assists while Jessica Mercier, Keyana Breault, and Shannon Lachance each had one assist.   Jessica Boileau had another strong game for Viel in scoring two goals and adding one assist.  Hailey Brousseau had their other goal.  Sam Stewart and Kameron Brousseau added single helpers.

On November 5, 2019, Cain Safety shutout Masonic Lodge 3-0.  Christina Liposcak registered the gooseegg in a strong outing.   Katie Malo, A. Malo, and Samantha Cain scored for Cain.

On November 6, 2019, Albert’s Sports & Work Wear was back at it.   This time they played a stubborn team from Viel Auto Body, and again prevailed - This time, 8-4.   It was a much closer game than the score dictated in that Albert’s sealed the win with two late goals in the second period.  Marguerite Bourdages-Cote exploded offensively with 4 goals and 1 assist.  The rest of the scoring came from Jordyn Bartolomucci, Sierra Landry, Madison Seguin, and Marie Bourdages-Cote.  Landry also contributed 3 assists.  Bartolomucci had 2 assists.  Karine Harvey chipped in with 1 assist.   Britney Larocque, Gaby Larocque, Danika Ratte, and Tessa Desjardins responded for Viel in a losing cause.   Samantha Stewart added 4 assists,   Jessica Boileau, Tessa Desjardins, and Gaby Larocque each had one assist.

On November 10, 2019,  Albert’s Sports & Work Wear and Tisdale Plumbing and Heating played a very spirited and highly entertaining game, in tying 5-5.  Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau was the star for Alberts in scoring 2 goals.   Sierra Landry added 1 goal and 1 assist.  Marguerite Bourdages-Cote and Karine Trudel had the other scores.  Melanie Gagnon contributed two primary assists.  Danya Desjardins led Tisdale with a 2 goal effort, while single markers came off the sticks of Keyana Breault, Rachelle Helin, and Nancy Courchesne.  Courchesne, Helin, and Talisa Belec each added 1 assist.

On November 13, 2019, Viel Auto Body defeated Masonic Lodge 9-6.  Emelie Viel paced her team to victory with a hat trick and two assists.   Tessa Desjardins chipped in with two goals while single markers came from Erin Rumleski, Emma Robertson, and Gabrielle Larocque.  Danika Ratte worked hard in producing two assists, while Amelie Mainville and Neomi Bordeleau had single assists.  Hailey Brousseau paced Masonic with three goals while Kara D’arcangelo chipped in with two.  Taylor Rubino set her team mates up all night with three primary assists.  Sarah Deforge had two assists while Olivia Deforge had one.
