Novice Division:
On January 21, 2020, Porcupine Kinsmen defeated Discover Fitness 9-6. Mia Thauvette had three goals, while Adele Yates and Scotia Authur had two a piece. Yates also added a few assists. Kenady Bernard and Clara Altman had one goal and one assist. Olivia Vandal, Courtney Biedermann, Piper Dzijacky, Emanuelle Caron, Victoria Souliere, and Brianna Rathbone were responsible for scoring for Discover Fitness. Biedermann, Dzijacky, and Souliere also added assists.
On January 31, 2020, Iroquois Falls beat Porcupine Kinsmen 8-1. Ryan Arsenault led the Iroquois Falls attack with two goals. Single tallies came off the sticks of Janique Desrochers, Audrey Audet, Kirk Arsenault, Peyton Levesque, and Ali Proulx. Adele Yates responded with the only goal of the game for Porcupine. Chelsie McQuatt had the assist.
On February 1, 2020, Cedar Street Dental upended Porcupine Kinsmen 12-1. Even for Ringette, this was an unusually high scoring game. Charley Champagne and Olivia Young paced the attack with three goals a piece. Grace Donaldson and Jordyn sparks chipped in with two goals each, while single markers were scored by Ayla Lamothe and Emanuelle Caron. Desyree Dinel contributed two assists. Megane Plouffe responded for the Kinsmen.
Petite Division:
On January 19, 2020, Timmins Garage outlasted Designer Pool 6-4. Alissa Duggan and Janelle Lapierre chipped in with two goals a piece for the winners, while Hailey Plouffe rounded out their scoring. Gabrielle Cheff and Taylor Pilotte had the assists. Brook-Lynne McGinn tried to will her team back on her own with a three goal and one assist performance, but it wasn’t enough. Isabelle Rivard scored one goal and added one assist.
On January 25, 2020, Custom Concrete doubled Timmins Garage 6-3. Juliette Bourdages-Cote scored 3 goals to lead her team to victory. Tatianna Dalcourt scored two, while Addison McQuatt completed their scoring. Addison Lamothe, Jana Courchesne, and Isabelle Rivard had the assists. Amaia Aide-Rios scored two goals for Timmins Garage in a losing cause, while Taylor Pilotte had two assists. Janelle Lapierre rounded out their scoring.
On January 26, 2020, the Iroquois Ringers edged Timmins Garage 5-3. Iroquois Falls had five separate scorers including: Adelina Desrochers, Ava Levesque, Emerley Come, Catherine Morin, and Madysen Cyr. Jillian Dagerre and Alisa Duggan replied for Timmins Garage. Taylor Pilotte had two helpers.
On February 1, 2020, Timmins Garage edge Designer Pool 8-6. Amaia Aide-Rios had four goals for Timmins Garage, while Janelle Lapierre scored three. Hailey Plouffe completed their scoresheet. Valerie Hamilton had multiple assists. Brooke-Lynne McGinn replied for the Pool team with three goals of her own. Isabella Merenda added two scores while Jasmine Bangs rounded out the scoring.
Tween Division:
On January 15, 2020, O’Reilly Sports edged Rehab Plus 3-1 in a closely played and entertaining game. Lindie Young, Ella McCarty, and Ella Brumwell scored for the victors. Assists came from Camryn Hyde and Martina Romain. Julie Whissel replied for Rehab. Zoe Brazeau added the assist.
On January 17, 2020, O’Reilly Sports lost to Iroquois Falls 6-4 in a very close game that was won in the first period when Iroquois scored two of their six goals. Both teams made a game of it with four goal explosions in the second period. O’Reilly’s gave their regular goalie, Gabrielle Brazeau a rest this night. Camryn Hyde played in her place and performed very well. Amaya Come and Brysen McMeekin each led Iroquois Falls to the win with 2 goal performances. Aby Cyr and Addy Lawrence rounded out their scoring. O’Reilly’s responded with a two-goal night from Isabella Beatty-Peters, and singles of the sticks of Martina Romain and Ella Brumwell. Martina Romain and Janelle Lapierre supported their team with primary assists.
On January 22, 2020, O’Reilly Sports beat Rehab Plus 7-1. Christelle Berthier had been called up from the U12 level to play goal for Rehab. She did very well in holding her own, while facing a lot of shots. Ella McCarty had three goals for O’Reilly’s in the win, while Ella Brumwell had one goal and two assists. Karine Bolduc, Camryn Hyde, and Kailan Yacula had contributing assists. Zoe Brazeau responded for Rehab. Janelle Lapierre and Anika Allarie added the assists.
On January 24, 2020, O’Reilly Sports got their revenge on Iroquois Falls; squeaking out a 7-6 win. After falling behind in the first, O’Reilly’s stormed back in the second for the win. Ella McCarty was the star of the show with five goals. Juliette Bourdage-Cote, played up from her Petite age level and had a solid contribution with one goal and two assists. Camryn Hyde rounded out their scoring. Anna McBride replied with two goals for Iroquois Falls. Aby Cyr, Aurora Cuddy, George Cuddy, and Isabelle Getty had single tallies.
On January 25, 2020, O’Reilly Sports and Rehab Plus played to a well fought 7-7 tie. Maria Aide-Rios led Rehab in scoring with five goals. Talia Rivard and Lauren Bonsall completed the ledger for Rehab. Talia Rivard, Zoe Brazeau, and Lauren Bonsall added important assists. Adison Roberge played defence and scored an impressive four goals for O’Reilly’s, while Ella McCarty chipped in with two. Ella Brumwell rounded out their scoresheet. Both goalies played very well in this explosive game that was highlighted by a lot of shots on both ends of the ice.
On January 29, 2020, Rehab Plus handily defeated O’Reilly Sports 7-2, in a game that featured a lot of scoring and a 2 assist effort and strong game from Petite call-up, Cloe Belanger-Gallant. Maria Aide-Rios led Rehab to victory with three goals, while Lauren Bonsall and Anika Allarie each contributed two and played strong defensively. Zoe Brazeau, Kenady Hussey, and Julie Whissel added assists. Ella Brumwell and Janelle Lapierre responded for O’Reilly’s. Gabrielle Brazeau and Camryn Hyde each had a hand in setting up the goals.
On January 31, 2020, Rehab Plus narrowly edged Iroquois Falls 7-6. This game featured Emilie Mathieu getting called up from Petites to play her very first Tween age game. She stood out on the ice and contributed one assist in the win. Lauren Bonsall was the scoring hero in this one with three goals and one assist. Maria Aide-Rios and Juliette Bourdages-Cote each had two scores. Assists came from Maria Aide-Rios, Anika Allarie (2), Alexis Jensen, and Talia Rivard (2). Amaya Come was the main catalyst for Iroquois Falls in having a three goal, two assist performance. Tatum Emans added a hat trick of her own.
JBO Division:
On January 15, 2020, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating defeated Albert’s Sports & Work Wear 7-1, in a game that was decided in the first period where Tisdale scored six of their goals. Sydney Dagenais let the scoring exploits with two goals and one assist. Shannon Lachance had a hat trick. Keyana Breault and Caitlyn Ranger chipped in with one goal a piece. Ranger, Danya Desjardins and Taylor Kaye each added two helpers in the win. Paige Brumwell responded for Albert’s. Marie-Pier Letourneau and Marguerite Bourdage- Cote had the assists.
On January 19, 2020, Viel Auto Body won a nail biter over Tisdale Plumbing and Heating 8-7. Viel was paced by Gabrielle Laroque’s hat trick, and a two goal outing from Jessica Boileau. Britney Larocque and Danika Ratte also scored in the win. Gabrielle Laroque also added three assists on the night, while Emilie Viel had two assists. Danika Ratte and Melina Verreault each chipped with one assist. Caitlyn Ranger scored four goals for Tisdale in the loss, while Danya Desjardins had two goals and two assists. Keyana Breault completed their scoring. Jennifer Landers. Janelle Rivard, Chelsea Desjardins and Rachel Helin added the other assists.
On January 19, 2020, Cain Safety defeated Albert’s Sports & Work Wear 7-5. The game was close for the most part. Cain won it with two late goals in the second period. Jennifer D’aoust led Cain to the victory with two goals and three assists. Two goal efforts also came off the sticks of Karine Caron and Emily Hogan. Karine Caron, Reiley Salomone, and Annick Mainville supported their teammates with helpers. Marguerite Bourdages-Cote responded for Albert’s with three goals and two assists. Paige Brumwell and Danika Ratte each had one goal in the loss. Madison Seguin and Karine Harvey each had two assists.
On January 22, 2020, Cain Safety defeated Masonic Lodge 5-2. Caitlyn Ranger scored three goals for Cain Safety in the win, while Isabelle Rondeau added a score. Shannon Farrell and Ranger had the assists. Kara D’Arcangelo scored both goals for Masonic. Gabrielle Larocque had both assists in the loss.
On January 26, 2020, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating defeated Cain Safety 5-2. Caitlyn Ranger scored a hat trick for Tisdale, while Shannon Lachance and Janelle Rivard added single markers. Assists came from Alley Perrier (2), Danya Desjardins, Janelle Rivard, and Lachance. Karine Caron and Christine Jerk replied for Cain Safety.
