Game Scores and Highlights from October 29/19 to November 4/19

Novice Division:

On October 29, 2019, Discover Fitness upended Porcupine Kinsmen 8-3.   Most of the damage for Discover was done in the first period when 5 goals were scored.  The victory was spearheaded by Brianna Rathbone’s 3 goal and 2 assist performance.  Victoria Souliere supported her team with a strong 2 goal and one assist effort of her own.  Piper Dzijacky scored a goal and had two assists.   Olivia Symes and Addison Larocque each had a goal to round out the scoring.   Oliva Vandal had a strong defensive game with two assists.  Emanuelle Caron chipped in with one assist.  Adele Yates paced the Kinsmen response with a goal and an assist, in a losing cause.  Clara Altman and Mia Thauvette added single tallies. Chanel Mathieu had one assist.

 

Petite Division:

On October 29/19, Custom Concrete edged Timmins Garage 8-6 in a close fought battle between two well balanced tea?_ms.   Juliette Bourdages-Cote led her team to victory with a hat trick performance.  Isabelle Rivard was right behind her team mate is putting together an impressive 2 goal and 3 assist effort of her own.  Addison Lamothe, Tatiana Dalcourt and Addison McQuatt each contributed one goal and one assist.  Jana Courchesne, Emilie Mathieu and Alexyanne Plouffe added single assists in a supporting role.  Janelle Lapierre had a strong night in a losing cause with a dominating 3 goal and 2 assist outing.  Hailey Plouffe and Alissa Duggan each scored 1 goal and added one assist.  Cloe Belanger-Gallant played well in chipping in with two primary assists.

On November 4, 2019, and offensive slugfest took place as Timmins Garage beat Designer Pool 12-5.    Janelle Lapierre and Amaia Aide-Rios paced the victors with a performance that included a hat trick and two assists.   Single tallies came off the sticks of Cloe Belanger-Gallant, Gabrielle Cheff, Isabelle Rivard, Valerie Hamilton, and Alissa Duggan.  Hamilton, Rivard, and Duggan also had primary assists in the win.   Brooke-Lynne McGinn replied with two goals in the loss.   Kaitlyn Bangs had a goal and an assist.

 

Tween Division:

On October 25, 2019, Rehab Plus upended the tween team from Iroquois Falls 9-3.  Keenyah Murray led the offensive explosion for Rehab with an amazing 5 goals.  Janelle Lapierre supported her teammate with a two goal and two assist outburst of her own.   Lauren Bonsall and Zoe Brazeau had single tallies in the victory.  Alexis Jensen contributed two assists.   Amaya Come responded with two goals for Iroquois Falls.   George Cuddy had the other score.  Bryson McMeeken, Anna McBride and Addison Lawrence added the assists.

On October 30, 2019, Rehab Plus narrowly edged Porcupine Kinsmen 6-4.  Rehab won the game with two late goals by Maria Aide-Rios and Talia Rivard.   Both of these young ladies also scored goals earlier in the game.  Isabella Beatty-Peters added the other goal for the winners.   This was a complete team win in that supporting assists came off the sticks of Anika Allarie, Beatty-Peters, Rivard, Zoe Brazeau, and Kenady Hussey.  Ella Brumwell paced the attack for the Kinsmen in a losing cause with 2 goals and one assist.  Keenyah Murray and Camryn Hyde completed their scoring.   Jo-Anne Vane and Gaby Brazeau had strong games in goal for their respective teams.

 

JBO Division:

On October 30, 2019, Viel Auto Body defeated Masonic Lodge 4-1 in a close game that was highlighted by strong goaltending performances on both sides.  Emma Robertson paced Viel to the win with one goal and one assist.   Single goals came off the sticks of Olivia Peters, Erin Rumleski, and Jessica Boileau. Amelie Mainville and Emilie Viel each added two assists.  Kara d’Arcangelo responded with the only goal for Masonic, with Hailey Brousseau setting her up on a nice pass.

On November 3, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating edged Viel Auto Body 5-3 in a game that was not decided until the last two minutes when Viel scored on goals by Janelle Rivard and Shannon Lachance.   Rivard also scored a goal in the first period and added an assist.  Danya Desjardins and Alley Perrier rounded out their scoring.  Chelsea Desjardins chipped in with two primary assists while Jessica Mercier, Keyana Breault, and Shannon Lachance each had one assist.   Jessica Boileau had another strong game for Viel in scoring two goals and adding one assist.  Hailey Brousseau had their other goal.  Sam Stewart and Kameron Brousseau added single helpers.
