Game Scores and Highlights from October 15 - 28/19:

Novice Division:

On October 22, 2019, Discover Fitness took on their rivals from Porcupine Kinsmen, with the Discover team winning handily 7-2.   This clean game featured no penalties.   The victors were led by a hat trick from Courtney Biedermann and strong two goal efforts from Olivia Vandal and Charley Champagne.    Primary assists came off the sticks of Piper Dzijacky, Grayce Donaldson, Olivia Vandal, Addison Larocque, Olivia Symes, and Emanuelle Caron.   It was a complete team effort.   Mia Thauvette scored both goals for the Kinsmen.  Clara Altman had the assist.

 

Petite Division:

On October 15, 2019, Designer Pools and Timmins Garage renewed their rivalry , with the Pool team coming out on top 8-3.   Christelle Bernier had a strong game in goal for the victors, while the scoring came from Brooke-Lynne McGinn’s hat trick (and 1 assist) and a strong two goal contribution from Jasmin Bangs.   Single goals came from Isabella Merenda, Jillian Daguerre, and Mila Champagne.   Kaitlyn Bangs supported her team with two assists, while Rya Lamirande, Jillian Daguerre, and Mila Champagne each added one helper.  Janelle Lapierre, Valerie Hamilton, and Alissa Duggan replied for Timmins Garage.

On October 22, 2019, Custom Concrete defeated Designer Pool’s 8-3.    Addison McQuatt, Isabelle Rivard, and Alexyanne Plouffe  each scored 2 goals for the victors, while single efforts came from hard work from Tatianna Dalcourt and Juliette Bourdages-Cote.  McQuatt had an all around strong game in also chipping in with 4 assists.  Isabelle Rivard had two assists.   Jasmin Bangs did all the talking for the Pool team in scoring a hat trick.  Brooke-Lynne McGinn and Jillian Daguerre had the supporting assists.

On October 25, 2019, Designer Pool defeated the Iroquois Falls Stingers 6-1.   Jasmin Bangs led her team to victory with two goals.  Isabelle Rivard added a goal and an assist.   Single scores came off the sticks of Emma Bradette, Cloe Belanger-Lambert, and Brooke-Lynne McGinn.   Isabella Merenda contributed an assist.   Emerly Come replied for Iroquois falls.   Tyler Riopel had the lone assist to set up the tally.

 

Tween Division:

On October 16, 2019, Rehab Plus doubled Porcupine Kinsmen 6-3,   This game was hotly contested and was very close until Rehab put the game away with two goals in the last two and a half minutes.   Keenyah Murray was the hardest worker of the night with a 4 goal performance.     Janelle Lapierre and Anika Allarie completed their scoring.  Kenady Hussey and Zoe Brazeau had supporting assists.  Ella McCarty did her best to keep the Kinsmen in the game with two goals, while Ella Brumwell chipped in with the other score.   Kailan Yacula had a strong game with two assists.

On October 20, 2019, a scoring exhibit occurred between Rehab Plus and O’Reily Sports, with Rehab outlasting their competitor 13-8.   The game was highly entertaining for the fans, with most of the damage occurring in the first period.   Rehab was led by hat trick performances from Brooke-Lynne McGinn and Juliette Bourdages-Cote., and two goal outbursts from Anika Allarie and Janelle Lapierre.   Lauren Bonsall, Kenady Hussey, and Talia Rivard added single scores.   Allarie and Bourdages-cote also contributed three assists a piece.    Ella Brumwell and Keenyah Murray responded with three goal efforts for O’Reily’s.  Fiona Bernier scored the other goal.  Martina Romain, Julie Whissel, and Addison Roberge had the primary assists.

 

JBO Division:

On October 20, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating defeated Iroquois Falls 8-3 in a one sided affair.  Jessica Mercier had two goals for the winners, while single tallies came from Shannon Lachance, Danya Dejardins, Talisa Belec, Alexis Clark, Nancy Courschesne, and Janelle Rivard.  Caitlyn Ranger and Lachance had primary assists.  Emelie Robert was strong in goal.  Alex Cyr, Jen Lieneck, and  Mel Giguerre replied for IF.

 

On October 20, 2019, Viel Auto Body upended Masonic Lodge 6-2.  It was a game where both goalies stood on their heads and made the teams work all night.  The game was very close in the first period with Viel leading 2-1, but the victors sealed the triumph with 4 unanswered goals in the second.  Jessica Boileau paced Viel with a hat trick, while Danika Ratte contributed one goal and two assists.  Single markers came off the sticks of Emilie Viel and Gaby Laroque.  Laroque and Amelie Mainville had single assists.  Hailey Brousseau and  Kara D’arcangelo replied for Masonic in a losing cause.

 

On October 22, 2019,  Masonic Lodge edged Albert’s Sport’s and Work Wear 6-4 in a close fought affair that was decided with Masonic’s two big goals halfway through the second period.   Taylor Rubino led her team to victory with two goals, while Kara D’arcangelo chipped in with a goal and two assists.   Rylee Kaye and Hailey Brousseau had single scores.   Emma Robertson added an assist.   Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau did her best to will her team to a comeback with a hat trick in a losing cause.  Marguerite Bourdages-Cote scored the other goal for Albert’s.   Madison Seguin, Maya Brousseau, and Sierra Landry had assists.

 

On October 25, 2019,   Albert’s Sport’s and Work Wear defeated Viel Auto Body 7-3 in a game that was dominated by Albert’s in the first period.   Albert’s was led through the two goal efforts of Marguerite Bourdages-Cote, Jordyn Bartolomucci, and Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau.  Keyana Breault chipped in with a single tally plus two assists.  Bourdages-Cote added to her dominating game with 4 assists as well.   Jessica Boileau, Kameron Brousseau, and Melina Verreault replied for Viel.   Tessa Desjardin added an assist.

 

On October 25, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating upended Cain Safety 8-2.   Keyana Breault led Tisdale to the win with a 3 goal, 2 assist effort.   The team’s scoring was rounded out on goals from Danya Desjardins, Alley Perrier, Shannon Lachance, Chelsea Desjardins, and Caitlyn Ranger.  Primary assists came off the sticks of Alley Perrier (2), Danya Desjardins (2), and Shannon Lachance (2).  Emily Hogan and Annick Mainville replied for Cain Safety.  Shannon Farrell, Kirsten Jansen, and Kelly-Ann Bennett contributed assists.

 

On October 27, 2019, Albert’s Sport’s and Work Wear and Masonic Lodge played again, but this time Albert’s returned the favour with a convincing 4-0 win.  Katie Page was strong in goal in securing a shutout.   Patricia Viel stood on her head at times in doing everything that she could to keep Masonic in the game.   Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau contributed two goals while single tallies came off the sticks of Karine Harvey and Marguerite Bourdages-Cote.  Jordyn Bartolomucci played a strong defensive game and chipped in with two assists.  Sierra Landry also had an assist.
