Novice:
On December 3, 2019, Cedar Street Dental edged Porcupine Kinsmen 6-4. Ayla Lamothe paced her team to victory with a hat trick performance, while Jordyn Sparks potted two of her own. Olivia Young also scored and added two assists. Other helpers came off the sticks of Megane Plouffe, Adele Plouffe, and Brooklyn Chamberland. Adel Yates scored two goals for Porcupine, while Olivia Robertson had a goal and an assist.
On December 7, 2019, Porcupine Kinsmen defeated Discover Fitness 5-1. Mia Thauvette was the star of this game with a 4 goal performance. Maelle Durepos completed the scoring for her team. Adel Yates had two assists. Courtney Biedermann replied for Discover Fitness.
Petite Division:
On November 30, 2019, Timmins Garage edged Custom Concrete 7-6 in a competitive game that was not decided until three minutes left in the game on a goal by Hailey Plouffe. Janelle Lapierre had paced her team throughout the match with a hat trick performance. Amaia Aide-Rios, Alissa Duggan, and Kaydence Malo completed the scoring for the Garage crew. Duggan, Lapierre, Gabrielle Cheff, and Taylor Pilotte chipped in with primary assists. Tatiana Dalcourt and Juliette Bourdages-Cote responded with two goals a piece in a losing effort. Jana Courchesne and Kylie Penault added single scores. Adison McQuatt and Alexyanne Plouffe added assists.
On December 6, 2019, Timmins Garage and the Iroquois Falls Ringers played a highly entertaining game, with Timmins winning 8-3. Alissa Duggan exploded with 4 goals and 2 assists. Amaia Aide-Rios had two goals and one assist. Janelle Lapierre and Olivia Vandal completed the scoring. Cloe Belanger-Gallant, and Olivia Vandal had assists in the win. Ava Levesque responded with two goals for Iroquois Falls in the loss, while Nova Krysko chipped in with one.
Tween Division:
On December 6, 2019, Rehab Plus and Iroquois Falls had a back and forth battle, with Rehab prevailing in the end 8-7. The winning margin was scored with less than three minutes left by Maria Aide Rios. Iroquois Falls scored with 18 seconds left to create some nervous last minute moments for Rehab fans, but Goalie Jo-Anne Vane stood her ground to preserve the win. Maria Aide Rios was the big performer of the evening as she potted 5 goals and 1 assist overall. Julie Whissel, Zoe Brazeau, and Lauren Bonsall rounded out the scoring for Rehab. Amaya Come, George Cuddy, and Aurora Cuddy were among the scorers for Iroquois Falls.
JBO Division:
On December 4, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating doubled Masonic Lodge 6-3. Karine Caron led Tisdale to victory with three goals and one assist. Danya Desjardins, Alley Perrier, and Keyana Breault rounded out the scoring. Shannon Lachance, Rachelle Helin, and Danya Dedjardins each contributed two assists. Taylor Rubino, Kara D’Arcangelo, and Sydney Dagenais responded for Masonic.
On December 4, 2019, Albert’s Sports & Work Wear and Viel’s Auto Body tied 6-6, in a game that was highly contested and entertaining, and featured a lot of offence on both sides. For Viel, Melina Verreault and Gabriele Larocque each scored two markers, while single tallies came off the sticks of Jessica Boileau and Emilie Viel. Viel also helped with two assists. Amelie Mainville and Melina Verreault had the other assists. Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau paced Albert’s with a hat trick, while Marguerite Bourdages-Cote, Marie Bourdages-Cote, and Jordyn Bartolomucci also replied for Albert’s. Karine Harvey and Maya Brousseau had assists.
On December 8, 2019, Masonic Lodge defeated Tisdale Plumbing and Heating 6-3. Kara D’Arcangelo led her team to victory with three goals and one assist. Sydney Dagenais had two goals as well. Assists came off the sticks of Danielle Southcott, Hailey Brousseau, and Emma Robertson. Tisdale responded with single tallies from Janelle Rivard and Danya Desjardins.
On December 8, 2019, Viel Auto Body played a short benched Albert’s Sports and Work Wear team and soundly defeated them 11-4. Gabriele Larocque scored 4 goals, while Danika Ratte potted three goals and two assists. Alexie Trudel scored two markers. Jessica Boileau rounded out the scoring and added two assists. Marie Bourdages-Cote scored three times for Albert’s in the loss. Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau had the other tally. Marguerite Bourdages-Cote had three assists. Paige Brumwell had an assist.
On December 8, 2019, Cain Safety defeated Viel Auto Body 9-4. Samantha Richards paced the Cain attack with 5 goals and 1 assist. Emily Hogan contributed a strong effort as well with 3 goals and 1 assist. Samantha Cain had the other marker. Shannon Farrell had two assists. Emilie Viel responded with two goals for Viel. Gabriele Larocque and Jessica Boileau each added scores to close the scoresheet. Samantha Stewart, Danika Ratte, and Amelie Mainville chipped in with assists.
